Our next PTA meeting is Wednesday, March 12th. We will be meeting off campus at the newly opened Ayres Hotel at Brookhurst & Slater at 6:00 pm. In addition to hearing about what’s new at Fulton, we’ll be electing our 2014-2015 Executive Board and hearing about what’s going on at our school.
Door prizes will be raffled off, and everyone who attends is eligible to win! Come check out the new hotel and restaurant, Fusion Bites, in our town — plus get the latest about Fulton at the same time! We look forward to seeing you there!
The 12th Annual Fountain Valley School District Art Show is taking place on Tuesday, March 11th at the District offices at Brookhurst & Slater. Come celebrate the visual arts anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 pm in the FVSD Board Room.
In addition to displays of student artwork from Fulton and other FVSD schools, there will be stations where students can create make-and-take art projects, led by teachers from Tamura, Oka, Plavan, Gisler, Fulton, Masuda and Talbert.

Our annual Cookie Dough fundraiser is coming up! The kick-off assemblies will take place March 17. All orders must be turned in by April 1, with deliveries arriving on April 10. Prizes will be awarded for the number of boxes sold. Download the flyer below for more information.

Here is an easy way to earn money for our school. Simply clip the Box Tops symbols from select General Mills products and turn them into our school. We get money for every Box Top submitted to the program. It’s that simple! Products that have the Box Top symbols include Ziploc bags, Cheerios, Gold Medal flour, Kleenex and many more. All 8th grade students should have received their Fountain Valley High School course guides and course registration worksheets. Course requests will be submitted on March 10 and guidance counselors will be available to answer questions as well. For more information, parents and students are invited to attend Fulton Parent (and Student) Night at FVHS on Monday, March 10 at 6;30 pm in the FVHS gym.
We need help with the upcoming FVSD Art Fair on Wednesday, March 5th. Each school selects original student artwork for display at this annual event. We need someone to pick up the artwork from Fulton and mount them on our school’s display at the District office at Brookhurst/Slater. There will be a representative from the Art Fair at the District office to provide supplies and answer any questions. This can be done anytime between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on March 5th (artwork can be picked up sooner if needed). Estimated time to complete this project is between 1-2 hours. One short month until our 8th graders are off to Catalina! To help things go smoothly, Mrs. Flores, our 8th Grade Activities Director, needs help with the Catalina luggage, ensuring that their luggage is packed correctly with all of the necessary items.
- Students will bring their luggage to the school and check it in on Friday, February 28th, either before or after school
- We need at least 12 volunteers on February 28th from 7:00-9:00 am
- We need at least 6 volunteers on February 28th from 1:30-3:00 pm
